We are seeking an energetic, friendly, and detail-oriented Front of House Team Member to join our dynamic team. In this versatile role, you will be the face of our business, ensuring every guest enjoys an exceptional dining experience. You will be responsible for taking orders, preparing beverages, serving food, and maintaining a welcoming, immaculate environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Customer Service & Order Taking:
- Welcome guests with a warm, friendly, and professional attitude.
- Assist customers in placing orders accurately using our Point of Sale (POS) system.
- Answer questions regarding menu offerings, daily specials, ingredients, and potential dietary restrictions with confidence and accurate knowledge.
- Beverage Preparation:
- Craft and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks according to establishment recipes.
- Check identification to verify legal age for alcohol service where required.
- Food Service & Dining Room Support:
- Transport food and beverages quickly and safely from the kitchen to guest tables.
- Perform table maintenance by clearing dishes, wiping down surfaces, and resetting tables for new guests.
- Cleanliness & Maintenance:
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary dining room, bar area, and service station throughout your shift.
- Complete assigned opening, running, and closing side work to support clean working conditions.
Qualifications & Skills
- Previous customer service, serving, or bartending experience preferred, but willing to train the right candidate.
- Proficiency with Point of Sale (POS) systems or ability to learn new technology quickly.
- Strong knowledge of food, beverage ingredients, and food safety standards.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a positive, guest-focused mindset.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Must meet minimum age requirements to serve alcoholic beverages in accordance with local regulations.
- Capability to stand, walk, and carry food trays or beverage orders for extended periods.
