What You ll Do

• Provide inpatient and outpatient hematology/oncology care at multiple facilities
• Support clinics including infusion centers and hospital consultations
• Manage adult patients, approximately 15 per day, with complex cases
• Cover weekly 24-hour call shifts, supporting tele-consult services and on-site inpatient care
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and support staff
• Document care using Epic EMR system and coordinate treatments across facilities

What You Need
Required:

• VA medical license in hand
• Board Certified in Hematology/Oncology
• BLS certification
• DEA license
• Minimum 1 year of Hem/Onc experience
• Clean background (no MP history, settled or unresolved)

Preferred:

• Experience with complex hematology and oncology procedures
• Ability to work flexible floating schedule

About the Assignment
This role involves floating between two sister facilities, providing both hematology and oncology services to adult patients. You'll support inpatient consultations, clinic duties, and telehealth coverage during call shifts, primarily based at JMH with clinical support at SCCH. The department supports a busy patient volume and ensures a collaborative environment with dedicated nursing staff and modern EMR documentation.
