ER Registered Nurse – Job Summary We are seeking an ER Registered Nurse for our dynamic Emergency Department to provide clinical expertise and ensure high quality, efficient care in a fast‑paced, high‑acuity environment. This role requires strong clinical skills, patient‑centered care, and commitment to teamwork. Responsibilities Manage patient flow including triage, screening, exam preparation, and nursing care. Provide patient and family education regarding medications and treatment instructions. Maintain and review patient records, posting test and examination results. Administer medications in accordance with physician orders. Qualifications Licensed as a Florida Registered Nurse; if holding a compact license, active FL RN license required within 60 days of hire. Diploma or ASN required; BSN preferred. Previous acute‑care experience strongly preferred. Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association. ACLS certification required within 6 months of hire or transfer. PALS and/or ENPC certification required within 6 months of hire or transfer. NIHSS certification required within 6 months of hire or transfer. Critical thinking, service‑excellence, interpersonal communication, ability to read and follow instructions, PC skills.
