Description:

Can be remote, but must be available to work approx 8am - 5pm Pacific Time regardless of where they live.

3 Must haves on the resume: Six Sigma, PMP, continuous improvement experience

• This Program Management role can be remote supporting the BDB Program Management office within the Pacific Time zone.

• The position has the potential to become permanent at a later time.

• The role is part of the Continuous Improvement Team within the BDB Life Sciences Program Management Office. The team provides Continuous Improvement support to the R&D NPI teams, with the intent to improve processes and ultimately provide more added value to our internal customers.

• The role can adopt to a number of different roles, including guide, coach, analyst, trainer or change manager, depending on the type of assignment. In all situations, the Continuous Improvement role challenges and leads by example.

• Responsible for working with internal customers to scope continuous improvement projects within the R&D PMO, create work plans, track progress against work schedules, track budget progress , keep plans up to date and publish results, create and present management reports on project outcome and status.

• Responsible for establishing project quality requirements and adhering to our established method of executing and tracking projects.

• Responsible for maintaining all active project plans in MS Project (or other similar PPM software) and will be responsible for helping BD associates to learn and adopt these technologies.

• Capable of connecting to others at multiple levels of the organization, from Team Members on the work floor to Executive Managers

Requirements:

• Master’s Degree in Business or Engineering required with at least 5 years relevant working experience with Continuous Improvement (Lean and/or Six Sigma) within large/complex organizations or Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Engineering required with at least 10 years relevant working experience with Continuous Improvement (Lean and/or Six Sigma) within large/complex organizations

• PMP Certification

• Experience in working within a PMO and a track record of driving positive change within the organization.
