Production Operator

Job Description Job Description Job Description The Production Operator works with raw materials - such as fiber optic cables, copper, and steel - and uses specific machinery to transform raw materials into finished products per our customer specifications. All team members are responsible for safety, quality inspections, organization, and maintaining a clean work area. Requirements Please note: This position requires access to information which is subject to stringent controls under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) or Export Administration Regulations (EAR), as such, applicants must be a U.S. person defined as a citizen, national, U.S. lawful permanent resident, person granted asylee status in the U.S., or person admitted into the U.S. as a refugee. Must be 18 years of age or older High School Diploma or GED equivalent Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment Comfortable standing for extended periods and lifting up to 35 lbs as needed Ability to follow standard work instructions and adhere to quality control procedures Previous manufacturing experience preferred (preferably in high-volume production or assembly environments & including familiarity with safety protocols and PPE usage in a manufacturing setting) Experience operating industrial machinery, assembly lines, or automated equipment preferred Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot minor equipment issues preferred Experience with lean manufacturing principles, 5S, or continuous improvement preferred Work Environment/Physical Demands: The work environment and physical demands described here represent those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job with or without reasonable accommodation.
