Location: Decatur, IL – 100% Onsite
Pay Rate: $20/hr
Duration: 12 months
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:00 PM
Target Start Date: October 12, 2026

About the Role:
Caterpillar is looking for a Logistics Analyst 1 to support the flow of materials, production, and logistics activities within the Decatur operation. This role will involve reviewing production and shipment information, monitoring work processes, maintaining inventory data, and supporting production requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review documents, materials, and products to ensure completeness, accuracy, and compliance with standards and specifications.
• Review production schedules, work orders, and staffing information to determine personnel and material requirements.
• Record and maintain production data , including production volume, raw material consumption, and quality control information.
• Requisition and maintain inventory of materials and supplies needed to support production demands.
• Analyze costs related to manufacturing, labor, and materials .
• Accurately document and maintain customer/client and production information .
• Support compliance with applicable shipping and production requirements .

Requirements:

• High school diploma/GED required ; Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 1–2+ years of relevant experience preferred ; internships may be considered.
• Background in supply chain, logistics, manufacturing, or related operations is preferred.
• Strong Microsoft Office/Excel skills.
• Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and manage tasks accurately in an office environment .
