Job Title

Registered Nurse – Hematology / Outpatient Infusion (Oncology)

Location

Batavia, NY | Outpatient Infusion

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Days | Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM | No weekends, no holidays, no on-call responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Administer infusions across a mixed caseload including hematology, oncology, monoclonal antibodies, and non-oncology referral infusions
• Manage a typical daily assignment of up to 8 infusion patients within a maximum daily capacity of 24 patients
• Provide chairside chemotherapy teaching to patients and families
• Perform and maintain strong IV/vascular access and port access skills
• Collaborate effectively with a small, close-knit oncology care team including MDs, APPs, LPNs, and Ambulatory Techs
• Work independently and manage a full patient assignment with minimal supervision

Required Qualifications

• Current, unencumbered New York State RN licensure
• 2–3 years of recent infusion experience required
• ONS Chemotherapy/Immunotherapy Certification
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA)
• Proficiency with Epic EMR and Alaris infusion pumps
• Excellent communication skills with patients, families, and the oncology care team

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Outpatient clinic experience highly desired
• Experience working in a community-based oncology or hematology practice
• Familiarity with monoclonal antibody infusion protocols
