## Pediatric Dental AssistantApplylocations: Livonia, MItime type: Full timeposted on: Posted Todayjob requisition id: JR100317Looking for a career that makes you smile?Today's Pediatric Dentistry- Livonia is seeking a **Pediatric Dental Assistant** to join our growing team.Responsible for general clinic administrative work and maintenance, as well as completing lab work under the direction of a Dentist.**How you’ll make us better:*** Prepares the examination room for appointments by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary equipment is ready for the Dentist* Assists the Dentist during their procedure by handing them instruments and anticipating their needs throughout the appointment* Greets patients as they arrive* Updates and maintains the patients dental records* Takes and processes x-rays of patients* Schedules patient appointments* Takes billing and insurance details from patients* Advises patients on recommended oral hygiene* Assists Pediatric Dental Hygienist as needed* Obtains consent from parents**Your special skills:**We’re proud of our company culture and heritage of awesomeness.
