A Day in the Life This is a remote, field‑based role that requires residing within the specified territory and driving to multiple accounts throughout the region. A valid driver’s license and active vehicle insurance are essential, as is the ability to drive approximately 50% of the time within the territory and potential overnight travel. Responsibilities Represent Medtronic Pelvic Health during surgeries and implants by providing all necessary equipment and demonstrating expertise in implant, follow‑up support and troubleshooting techniques (device selection, programming, implantation, testing). Maintain current knowledge about assigned products, services, and competitive products. Proactively identify needs and educate a broader level of caregivers and account employees for new and existing accounts. Educate and train physicians, hospital personnel and office staff on technical matters related to our products and therapies through one‑on‑one sessions, in‑service education programs, seminars, and/or external symposiums. Assist the district manager and in‑house training department in education/training of new district employees (therapy consultants, clinical specialists, field clinical engineers, etc.). Provide sales support during or after cases, completing necessary documentation (implant registration, temporary ID cards, packing lists) and executing invoices. Place orders with customer service for pending purchase orders and product replacements. Maintain open and effective communication with district personnel, customers, and other Medtronic employees. Contribute to the completion of milestones associated with specific projects at the regional and/or national level. Understand all applicable quality policy/system items. Follow all work/quality procedures to ensure quality system compliance and high‑quality work. Perform other related activities as assigned. Qualifications – Must Have (Minimum Requirements) High School Diploma or GED AND a minimum of 11 years of patient care/clinical experience; or Associate’s Degree AND a minimum of 9 years of patient care/clinical experience; or Bachelor’s Degree AND a minimum of 7 years of patient care/clinical experience. Nice to Have Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree Clinical skill and knowledge (e.g., ability to conduct a simple trial, implant and/or refill a pump) Clinical experience with implantable Neuromodulation products and stimulation experience Experience servicing medical personnel on product use Experience with a medical device or pharmaceutical company and clinical experience in specialties such as urology, surgical, RN, neurology, neurosurgery, orthopedic, operating room, or home health care Strong communication skills with sales and healthcare professionals Ability to coach others on product use and clinical applications Excellent organizational skills Ability to prioritize under pressure Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously Preference Preference will be given to qualified local candidates and candidates with Medtronic experience. Travel & Driver Requirements Must have a valid driver’s license and active vehicle insurance. Your driving record will be reviewed. The role requires driving approximately 50 % of the time within the assigned territory and may require overnight travel. Salary and Compensation Salary ranges for U.S. locations (excluding Puerto Rico) are USD $104,000 – $130,000 – $156,000. This position is eligible for a Sales Incentive Plan (SIP) to earn significant incentive compensation.
