About the Opportunity

Insight Global is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor for a growing manufacturing operation in New Albany, Indiana. This is a hands-on leadership opportunity for a candidate who enjoys developing teams, improving equipment reliability, and partnering with engineering to drive operational excellence.

The Maintenance Supervisor will lead a team of approximately 20 maintenance technicians and 1 engineer while overseeing maintenance activities across multiple production shifts. This individual will play a key role in ensuring equipment uptime, supporting automation initiatives, improving maintenance processes, and creating a safe, high-performing work environment.

Responsibilities

• -Lead and develop a team of maintenance technicians while promoting accountability, safety, and performance.
• -Oversee preventative and corrective maintenance activities on automated manufacturing equipment.
• -Partner closely with engineering teams on equipment upgrades, automation projects, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• -Coordinate maintenance schedules, labor allocation, and resources to support production goals.
• -Drive equipment reliability, production efficiency, quality improvements, and workplace safety initiatives.
• -Lead troubleshooting and root cause analysis efforts related to manufacturing equipment and processes.
• -Support capital projects and manufacturing improvement efforts from planning through execution.
• -Monitor maintenance KPIs and implement strategies to improve performance and reduce downtime.
• -Collaborate with production, engineering, and operations teams to achieve business objectives.

Required Qualifications

• -5+ years of experience in manufacturing maintenance, technical operations, engineering, or automated equipment environments.
• -Previous experience leading maintenance technicians or maintenance teams.
• -Experience holding teams accountable to safety, performance, and production goals.
• -Strong collaboration experience with engineering teams and engineering-driven projects.
• -Experience managing preventative maintenance programs in a manufacturing environment.
• -Proven ability to lead equipment improvement initiatives focused on reliability, throughput, quality, and safety.
