Our teams embrace agile development practices and broadly utilize the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe). The future leader will support the Release Train Engineer (RTE) by championing these practices.

Responsibilities

• Quickly possess an understanding of Cotiviti and adept at working across organizational boundaries partnering with Business Leads and Functional Product Managers while maintaining a strategic perspective regarding IT architecture and business needs.
• Drive, develop, and implement long-term architecture software strategy to ensure alignment with company performance objectives.
• Responsible for managing internal stakeholders as needed.
• Manage and evaluate staff performance for professional development of staff members, including conducting objective-setting goals, coaching, assessment, and mentoring activities.
• Significant latitude in defining results, selecting alternatives, and acting across a range of products.
• Primary knowledge, control, and influence of IT decisions for area of responsibility, including optimizing service costs through a mix of internal and external resources for all aspects of development.
• Work with the HIPAA Privacy and Security Officer and HIPAA Security Compliance team to ensure all information systems and networks operate according to internal standards, external accrediting agency standards, regulatory agencies, and legal requirements.
• In coordination with key personnel, develop and implement disaster plan, emergency mode operation plan, backup plan, physical security plan, personnel security plan, access policies, and others. Ensure each plan is tested and revise plans as necessary to ensure data integrity, confidentiality, and availability.
• Hire, develop, coach, lead, and retain top-tier talent, focusing on building and improving a team and culture that supports and drives high levels of internal and external customer satisfaction.
• Complete all responsibilities as outlined on annual Performance Plan.
• Complete all special projects and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• BS. in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Strong strategic and tactical leadership, motivation, and decision-making skills.
• Proactive with strong troubleshooting skills.
• 2+ years of development experience utilizing Java Springboot and/or Python.
• Experience working with streaming technologies such as Kafka.
• 5 years of experience leading development projects using object-oriented development languages, ETL, or data warehousing, including team management.
• 7+ years working knowledge of IT industry business operations is required.
• 7+ years of strong design and development experience in the area of software development.
• Preference of 3+ years of experience working in an agile environment with preference to an Enterprise Agile Framework such as SAFe.
• Strong written, verbal, interpersonal, and follow-up communication skills.
• Able to anticipate, identify, and resolve problems.

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions

• No adverse environmental conditions expected.

Benefits

• Base compensation ranges from $130,000 to $165,000 per year. Specific offers are determined by various factors, such as experience, education, skills, certifications, and other business needs.
