Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit - Travel Registered Nurse - $2270 per week.

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 2 years of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience with any experience within the last 36 months (3 years).

• Experience with Epic is required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Wisconsin license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

• Flu vaccination required for submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Vaya Workforce Solutions - University of Wisconsin Health and no current placement allowed at Program: Vaya Workforce Solutions - University of Wisconsin Health.

Additional Details:

You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.

Preferred Skills/Experience: Community hospital experience is preferred.

Unit Details: Adult and geriatric patient population. Inpatient medical-surgical unit caring for general care patients with a wide variety of medical and surgical diagnoses, including COPD, heart failure, HTN, DM, ETOH, infection, mental status changes, and falls. Drips on the floor include insulin, heparin, and PCA. Cases/procedures include bariatric weight loss procedures; orthopedic surgeries (hip, knee, shoulder), neuro spine, appendectomy, cholecystectomy, hernia, and endocrine surgeries. Uses CPM, wound VAC, lifts, and polar cares.

Shift & Scheduling: Weekend and holiday rotations based on operational need.

Floating Requirements: Floating required to other units or downtown.

14 days maximum time off

1 Charge/Lead/Supervisor reference required from within the last 12 months
