Position Title:
Rec/Shipping Clerk

Hours:

Sunday-Thursday 7am-order completion (OT as required by supervisor)

Compensation :

$17 per hour 

Job Responsibilities:

·         Answering incoming phone calls

·         Log trucks check in / check out

·         Attend to truck drivers as needed when they check in.

·         Scheduling appointments via phone, email, or other means of communication

·         Data processing as required

·         Filling out spreadsheet/data sheets

·         Assign incoming/outgoing trucks to specific docks

·         Assign forklift drivers to specific trucks for loading/unloading

·         Ensure safety of loading/unloading (Wheel chocks, truck flags)

·         Confirm refer temperatures

·         Review inventory and cooler space to determine where to store product once it is unloaded

·         Close out assignments and print BOL sheets

·         Attend to truck drivers as needed when they check in.

·         Unload/inspections when needed

·         Fill in for supervisor lunches

·         Ensure all company food safety rules are followed including GMP’s

·         Ensure pre-shift forklift inspections are completed and documented in Red Zone.

·         Ensure all company safety rules are followed and enforced.

·         Cover Supervisor position when needed in emergency situations.

·         Other directions/tasks/assignments as needed by Upper Management

·         Assist with loading/unloading trucks between calls and check ins

·         Assist with shipping start-up/transition

Qualifications:

·         Attention to detail

·         Must be able to stand for minimum of 8hrs/day

·         Must be able to work minimum 40hrs/week

·         Extensive walking through the facility, both indoor & outdoor areas, and will involve exposure to varying weather conditions
