In the Mix-Signal and Linear Division (MSLD) we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Validation Engineer to join our staff. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering, with a focus on validating performance. As a key member of our engineering team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our new products meet or exceed the rigorous standards required by our diverse clientele. Key Responsibilities Include:Lead Validation projects.Collaborate internationally with groups such as Architecture, IP Design, Analog Library, FA, Product Engineering, and Test Engineering.Analog circuit PCB design.Create, maintain, and review test procedures and validation plans.Implement automated lab test bench setups using NI LabView.Python code development.Communicate weekly status updates to peers and leadership.Perform bench-level testing and characterization, analyzing performance across various operating conditions. Troubleshoot and debug new ICs to identify root causes of failures and work with the design team to implement solutions. Document validation results and provide comprehensive reports, including recommendations for product improvements.Support the creation of datasheets and application notes by providing accurate performance data. Participate in design reviews and provide validation perspectives to ensure product quality and reliability.Requirements/Qualifications:Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field.Minimum of 7.5 years of hands-on experience in validation or a closely related field. Strong understanding of semiconductors (DAC, SAR ADC, Delta-Sigma ADC, Pipeline ADC, Op-Amp, Comparator, DigiPOT, Temp sensor, , etc.) and their applications. Proficiency with lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, Audio Precision, signal generators, spectrum analyzers, and automated test equipment NI PXIe. Experience with scripting and automation of test processes (Python, LabVIEW, MATLAB, etc.). Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment as well as independently with minimal supervision.
