Job Title: Travel Nurse RN - Cath Lab

Location: Bakersfield, California

Department/Unit: Cath Lab

Shift: Day Shift - Monday to Friday (8-hour shifts, staggered start times at 0600 and 0800)

Salary: $60 - $70 per hour

Number Of Weeks - 13

Job Description:

EliteCare Medical Staffing is looking for an experienced and dedicated Travel Nurse RN to join our Cath Lab team in Bakersfield. This role offers a unique opportunity to provide specialized nursing care in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients undergoing catheterization procedures.
• Monitor patients' conditions before, during, and after procedures to ensure their safety and comfort.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation and records of patient care.
• Participate in on-call coverage as required, with a minimum of one night per week and every fourth weekend.

Qualifications:

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of California or eligibility for licensure.
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS or ENPC; TNCC preferred.
• Experience in Cath Lab nursing is preferred.
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills.
