Patient Care Specialist

This is a full-time position in our office, Monday through Friday, 8:30am- 5:30pm.

Position Summary

Quality DME, Inc. is seeking a Patient Care Specialist to join our Resupply Department and support our patients throughout their journey toward better sleep and improved health.

Key Responsibilites

Process medical equipment supply orders using Electronic Medical Database Software

• Answer and respond to patient phone calls
• Submit authorizations for equipment as needed
• Utilize inter-and-cross-departmental communication to maintain goals and objectives
• Reach out to patients as requested by physicians
• Ability to type at least 50 words per minute
• Proficiency in Excel, Word, Outlook, etc
• Proficiency in communication, both written and verbal
• Handle protected health information (PHI) in a manner consistent with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA)

Compensation and Benefits

• Paid Time Off: Base 80 hours annually with additional Paid Time off at each tier.
