Quick Facts: Location: 1111 Crater Lake Avenue, Medford, OR 97504Start Date: 07/21/2026Schedule: 4-8 shifts/month, including days (9am-9pm) and nights (11pm-6am) with some shifts ending closer to 7amShift Length: 8-12 hours (schedule flexible, preference for night shift 11pm-6am)Hours/Week: Approximately hoursEmployment Type: Locum Tenens / ContractLicenses/Certs: Active Oregon license, DEA, ACLS, BLS, BC or Board Eligible (within 3-5 years of residency)Experience: Emergency Medicine experience preferred Pay & Benefits: Pay Rate: $1.00/hr + incentives (up to $25/hr additional for night shifts confirmed)Weekly Pay Schedule via Direct DepositMedical Benefits: Comprehensive W-2 medical coverage includedAdditional Perks: Robust referral bonus program, licensure, travel, and certification reimbursements, paid sick time in accordance with local laws What You ll Do: Provide emergency medical care to adult patients in an inpatient hospital settingManage acute conditions, stabilize patients, and coordinate care with hospital staffDocument patient encounters accurately and efficientlyCollaborate with hospital team members to ensure quality patient careAdhere to facility protocols and legal requirements for emergency medicineCover scheduled shifts reliably, including nights and days as assignedParticipate in occasional teleconferences or staff meetings as needed What You Need: Current Oregon medical license and DEA registrationActive BLS and ACLS certificationsBoard Certified or eligible in Emergency Medicine (within 3-5 years of residency)At least 1 year of emergency medicine or relevant acute care experienceStrong communication and teamwork skills About the Assignment: This assignment offers coverage at a renowned hospital in Medford, OR, serving an annual volume of approximately 37,000 patients. The hospital is committed to providing excellent patient care with a dedicated medical staff. The schedule includes flexible shifts primarily covering nights, with potential for shorter shifts based on provider preferences though night shifts are currently in highest demand. Orientation is tentatively scheduled for November 10th, pending credentialing. All providers will have a phone interview with the hospital s medical director to discuss details and expectations.
