About the Position

TravelNurseSource is working with Malone Healthcare to find a qualified Med/Surg RN in Englewood, Colorado, 80110!

• Provide direct patient care on a busy 33-room Medical/Surgical Telemetry unit with up to 49 patients, including semi-private room assignments during high census periods
• Monitor and manage patients using telemetry equipment and document care using the Meditech EMR system
• Perform wound care, including care for surgical flap patients and spinal cord injury patients with stage 4 wounds requiring surgical intervention
• Assist with occasional bowel program management and light burn care for low-acuity burn patients in partnership with the burn unit
• Maintain patient ratios of 4:1 on day shift in a fast-paced, high-volume clinical environment

• Active and unrestricted RN license
• Minimum 1 year of current hospital-based Medical/Surgical experience
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required

• Experience working with spinal cord injury (SCI) patients
• ACLS certification
• Comfort working in a high-acuity, specialty-focused Med/Surg environment with a strong emphasis on patient care quality

• Work alongside an experienced team of over 60 staff members on a unit with a unique specialty focus in surgical flap care, spinal cord injury, and burn patient management
• Gain exposure to a diverse and clinically rich patient population in a well-established acute care setting
