UL Lab Technician

We are seeking a Certification Project Engineer to join a growing manufacturing organization in Buford, GA. This role is ideal for an engineering professional with experience managing product certification projects and working with regulatory agencies such as UL and CSA . The successful candidate will oversee certification activities, coordinate testing efforts, and ensure products meet required industry standards. Key Responsibilities Manage certification projects related to UL and CSA approvals , ensuring timely completion and compliance with applicable requirements. Handle moderately complex project assignments with a high degree of ownership and accountability. Assist Senior Project Leaders with complex certification initiatives and technical reviews. Coordinate with Laboratory Supervisors and Technicians to support testing activities and project execution. Obtain and maintain UL certification to participate in the Data Submittal Program for UL approvals. Obtain and maintain CSA certification to participate in the Category Program for CSA approvals. Monitor project timelines, documentation, and certification deliverables. Support continuous improvement initiatives related to regulatory compliance and product certification. Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field preferred. Experience working with UL, CSA, or other product certification and compliance programs . Background in manufacturing, product development, testing, or regulatory compliance. Strong project management and organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including engineering, laboratory, and technical personnel.
