Education, Training & Experience Master’s degree from an accredited institution in the field of Guidance and Counseling, School Counseling, or a related field. OR Master’s degree from an accredited institution with a major in counseling other than school counseling that includes a minimum of 600 clock hours of supervised internship with school-aged children and their families and at least 9 semester hours of graduate credit as defined in Florida Department of Education Rule 6A‑4.0181. Certificates, Licenses & Registrations Valid Florida Educator’s Certificate in Guidance and Counseling or School Counseling PK‑12. ***This position may require you to teach an additional period beyond your base contract. If this occurs, you will receive additional compensation at the negotiated rate (currently $5,500 for a full-year) in addition to your base salary for instructing this additional period. This amount will be paid as a supplement and disbursed in equal payments based on the District’s payroll calendar.
