Dietitian Job Duties Reviewall new residents on admission to ensureadequate nutrition is offeredto meet nutrition needs. Reviewcurrent residents quarterly,annuallyand as needed. Reviewresidents for significant weight loss/gain Assessand reviewresidents for wounds that are caused by pressure, calculate energy needsand makeappropriate recommendationsto support wound healing and wound prevention. Attend Clinicallyat-Riskmeetings. Attend food committee meetingsasneeded. Complete section K of the MDS WriteNutritionPlan ofCare and update as needed. Conductroomvisits for observation of the resident and to obtainhabits relating to current nutrition practices. Meet with resident/family as needed to implementappropriatenutritioninterventions. Tour of Dietary Servicesas neededtoobservesanitary conditions. DinningRoom observations as neededtoidentifyancillary services thatmaybeneficialto the resident. Meal tray auditsmonthly and as neededto ensure foods are being servedat appropriatetemperatures,foods are palatableandforplate presentation. RD recommendationsfor MD approval. Communicatewith Nursing staff as needed for root cause analysis. #J-18808-Ljbffr
