Senior Controls Engineer | Automation & System Integration

What you get Salary between $110,000 and $135,000 Comprehensive benefits package including healthcare, retirement plans, paid time off, and additional benefits such as disability coverage and employee assistance programs Tuition reimbursement and continuous professional development opportunities Exposure to large-scale, high-complexity automation projects A technical lead role on projects You will have opportunities for further development, and limited relocation support is available What you will do Design and develop complete control systems from concept through implementation and commissioning and define control architecture, including hardware, software, instrumentation, and industrial networks Develop PLC/DCS software using Ladder Logic (required) and Structured Text Perform advanced system analysis, including load flow, short circuit protection, harmonics, and timing analysis Design and implement safety-critical control systems, including hazard analysis and risk mitigation Create detailed engineering documentation, including system descriptions, schematics, and test plans Lead commissioning, testing, and troubleshooting in industrial and on-site environments and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and manage vendor scope to meet technical and safety requirements What we expect from you Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or closely related field Minimum of 5 years of experience in controls engineering or industrial automation Strong experience with PLC programming (Ladder Logic required, Structured Text preferred) Experience with platforms such as Allen-Bradley or Siemens Solid understanding of industrial automation architecture, electrical system design, and distributed I/O systems Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills within complex control environments About the company You will be working with a team specialized in advanced automation and control system integration.
