ServiceNow Lead Architect-HRSD

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow HRSD Lead Architect to drive the architecture, design, and delivery of enterprise-scale HR Service Delivery (HRSD) solutions. The ideal candidate will combine deep platform expertise with strong stakeholder management and leadership capabilities, guiding organizations through HR transformation initiatives while ensuring scalable, secure, and business-aligned ServiceNow implementations.

Additional Exposure: ITSM, Legal Service Delivery (LSD), Source-to-Pay (S2P)

Key Responsibilities

Solution Architecture & Delivery

  • Lead the architecture, design, and implementation of ServiceNow HRSD solutions.
  • Translate business requirements into scalable solution architectures, roadmaps, and implementation strategies.
  • Define data models, workflows, security frameworks, integrations, and governance standards.
  • Drive end-to-end delivery across discovery, design, build, testing, deployment, and hypercare phases.
  • Ensure alignment with ServiceNow best practices for scalability, maintainability, performance, and security.

Platform Leadership

  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to architects, developers, and implementation teams.
  • Review platform configurations, customizations, scripting, workflows, business rules, and integrations to ensure solution quality and adherence to standards.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to business, HR, IT, and executive stakeholders.

Integrations & Enterprise Architecture

  • Architect and oversee integrations between ServiceNow and enterprise platforms such as HRIS, Active Directory, LDAP, SAP, payroll systems, and external applications using APIs and integration frameworks.
  • Ensure secure, reliable, and scalable data exchange across enterprise ecosystems.

Data Migration & Information Governance

  • Lead migration of HR documents, knowledge articles, employee records, and service artifacts from SharePoint, legacy repositories, and document management platforms into ServiceNow.
  • Define migration strategies for content containing PII, confidential employee information, legal records, and other sensitive data.
  • Establish data governance, security controls, retention policies, access models, and compliance requirements throughout the migration lifecycle.
  • Ensure data integrity, traceability, and auditability of migrated information.

Governance & Continuous Improvement

  • Establish platform governance, security, compliance, and release management standards.
  • Identify opportunities to optimize processes, workflows, integrations, and platform adoption.
  • Lead platform upgrades, enhancements, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Qualifications

  • ServiceNow CSA and CIS-HRSD certifications required.
  • 10–15 years of overall IT experience with significant experience architecting and delivering ServiceNow solutions.
  • Proven success leading enterprise-scale HRSD implementations and transformation programs.
  • Deep understanding of ServiceNow platform architecture, HRSD capabilities, development best practices, and governance frameworks.
  • Strong experience with integrations, platform customization, scripting, workflows, and automation.
  • Experience migrating data and content from SharePoint, legacy systems, and enterprise repositories into ServiceNow.
  • Strong understanding of information security, PII handling, compliance, and data governance practices.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Working knowledge of ITIL principles and ServiceNow platform governance.

Preferred Qualifications

  • CIS-ITSM, CAD, CTA, or additional ServiceNow certifications.
  • Experience with Legal Service Delivery (LSD) and/or Source-to-Pay (S2P).
  • Experience leading geographically distributed teams and large enterprise transformation initiatives.
  • Experience advising senior leadership on ServiceNow platform strategy, roadmap planning, and governance.
