Warehouse Operator - 2nd Shift

SHIFT: 2nd Shift 2:00PM to 10:30PM; Weekends/Overtime/Holidays as needed.

PAY: $24.75 per hour with increase after fully trained

SUMMARY:

In this role, you'll be a key member of our Land O'Lakes, Inc. warehousing team, performing front-line processes that ensure successful delivery of final products. You'll gain skills and experience in warehouse operations including coordinating inbound/outbound deliveries, packing/loading final products using a forklift, assisting with cycle counts, and organizing areas of the warehouse. You'll operate daily on a forklift and use other plant machinery and equipment as needed. Join our team to become part of a member-owned co-op that is Rooted In Tomorrow. REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

Must be 18 years or older

1 year of work experience in any industry

Basic computer and math skills

Able to read, write, comprehend, follow verbal and written instructions

Willingness to learn new skills, problem-solve and troubleshoot

Strong collaboration, communication skills, and is always respectful

Key Responsibilities:

Complies with all safety processes and insists on safety practices of self and others

Shows up on time, completes tasks by deadlines, and adapts to changes quickly

Processes work orders by selecting correct products from racks, palletizing them, shrink-wrapping, and staging the product order for delivery

Able to multi-task and keep up with warehousing demands in a fast-paced environment

Ensures all standard operating procedures are followed

Maintains cleanliness and organization of work area

Successful forklift certification required

Physical Requirements for production positions regularly include:

• Able to lift 50lbs
• Frequent movement including walking, standing, bending/stooping, turning, twisting, pushing, pulling, raising arms, lifting, climbing and other active movements
• Performing duties while wearing personal protective equipment
• Working across temperature zones that may include cold and/or hot environments for extended periods and may include work in environments where dust is present
• Shift schedules that include days, nights, and weekends, some holidays and periodic overtime
