TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg / Tele RN in Burlington, North Carolina, 27215!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Med/Surg/Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience required. License: Active nursing license required. Certifications: BLS required, ACLS preferred. Must-Have: - EKG exam required for all RNs. - Telemetry remote monitoring experience. - Must float to various campuses as needed. Description: The registered nurse will provide care to patients in a med/surg and telemetry setting. The patient population will primarily include surgical patients requiring pre-operative and post-operative care. Nurses will perform assessments, administer medications, and manage patient care plans. The nurse-to-patient ratio will be 1:5-6. Charge RN experience is preferred. Candidates must be flexible with scheduling and understand the importance of punctuality. There is a zero-tolerance policy for tardiness and unexcused absences. Compliance with required protocols is expected, including passing an EKG exam. Traveling nurses may be floated to any designated campuses for patient care. Daily census will be approximately 27 patients in a unit with 29 beds. Interdisciplinary support teams, including physical therapy and respiratory services, are available. Additional responsibilities include managing IVs, performing wound care, and monitoring telemetry data. Candidates are expected to provide high-quality care while adhering to safety and infection control protocols.
