Doherty Staffing Solutions is hiring Inside Sales Representatives for a building materials/lumber company in Baxter, MN. In this role, youll build strong customer relationships and help customers find the right products for home improvement and construction projects. Engage with customers and prospects to identify needs and recommend products and solutions

Support outside sales representatives with order management and customer service

Maintain knowledge of lumber and home improvement products

Manage customer accounts including inquiries, order processing, returns/credits, and open orders

Provide guidance on small-scale construction projects such as decks, garages, windows, and doors

Assist with daily store or yard operations as needed

Deliver a professional and positive customer experience

High school diploma or equivalent required (post-secondary education in construction/design preferred)

13 years of sales or sales support experience (building materials preferred)

Strong math skills, including construction calculations and pricing

Proficiency with computers and Microsoft Office

Strong communication, organization, and multitasking skills

Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds (up to 75 pounds infrequently)

Valid drivers license preferred
