As a Crew Member Driver in Conway, you will play a crucial role in executing landscape installation tasks under the guidance of an experienced Install Crew Leader. This full-time position offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative environment, where your skills and dedication contribute to creating beautiful outdoor spaces.
Responsibilities
- Execute landscape installation activities daily, adhering to Phoenix's Customer Service, Quality, and Industry standards.
- Ensure safety and security for yourself, team members, and customers on job sites.
- Prioritize tasks effectively and follow instructions from supervisors on assigned projects.
- Utilize knowledge of planting, sodding, and grading to read landscape plans and ensure proper installation and growth environments.
- Operate track loaders and perform basic maintenance of landscape equipment and tools.
- Evaluate and operate irrigation systems as assigned.
- Communicate effectively with crew leaders, customers, and other crew members to resolve issues promptly and safely.
- Build positive relationships with customers, managers, and other employees.
Qualifications
- 1-2 years of experience in landscape installation or related tasks.
- Basic knowledge of irrigation, grading, planting, and sod techniques.
- Effective communication and courteous interaction with others.
- Experience with skid-steers, compact track trenchers, and excavators (preferred).
- Valid driver's license required.
- Ability to follow safety procedures and directions from managers and crew leaders.
- Capability to perform physical tasks in various weather conditions and environments.
- Reliable transportation to work during normal workweek hours.
