We are currently seeking a dedicated CDL Class A Driver for a full-time, permanent position with one of our clients.Job Description:As a dedicated CDL Class A Driver, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting goods and materials to and from various locations. You will be driving a commercial motor vehicle, adhering to all traffic laws and company policies. You will also be responsible for maintaining the vehicle and ensuring all necessary paperwork is completed accurately and on time.Key Responsibilities:Safely operate a commercial motor vehicle to transport goods and materials to and from designated locationsAdhere to all traffic laws and company policies while on the roadLoad and unload goods and materials from the vehicle, ensuring proper handling and securementInspect the vehicle for any mechanical issues and report any concerns to the appropriate personnelMaintain accurate and up-to-date records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumptionCommunicate with dispatch and other team members to ensure timely and efficient delivery of goodsAdhere to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe work environmentPerform routine maintenance on the vehicle, such as checking fluid levels and tire pressure, and report any issues to the appropriate personnelEnsure all necessary paperwork, such as delivery receipts and logbooks, is completed accurately and on timeRepresent the company in a professional and courteous manner at all timesHome daily drivers must be located within a 50-mile radius of WiltonDedicated drop and hookRequirements:Valid CDL Class A licenseMust be at least 22 years old or older9 months of tractor-trailer experience within the past three yearsClean driving record with no moving violations within the past 3 yearsNo more than one DOT recordable preventable accident in the last three yearsKnowledge of DOT regulations and safety protocolsExcellent communication and customer service skillsStrong attention to detail and time management skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamFlexibility to work weekends and holidays as neededWe offer competitive salary and benefits package, including health insurance, paid time off, and retirement savings plan.If you are a reliable and safety-conscious professional with a strong work ethic, we would love to hear from you.
