Lead IT Specialist

This on-site position in Irving, TX involves providing advanced technical support and senior guidance within the IT department. The Lead IT Specialist resolves complex infrastructure issues, mentors staff, and manages client interactions across workstations, servers, networks, and applications in a clinical setting. Requires a bachelor's degree in IT, 5 years of help desk experience, IT management background, and healthcare systems expertise including HIPAA compliance.

Responsibilities

Receive, respond to, and resolve IT support tickets via phone, email, and remote/onsite interactions
Install, configure, and maintain software on desktops, laptops, and mobile devices
Perform hardware setup, network configuration, and troubleshoot connectivity issues
Coordinate team activities, mentor IT staff, and assist with workload prioritization and escalations
Maintain vendor relationships, IT asset inventory, and documentation of policies and procedures

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field
5+ years Help Desk or similar technical support experience
IT management experience required
Windows workstation repair, maintenance, and deployment skills
Active Directory account creation and management expertise
Healthcare systems support including EMR and imaging systems knowledge
HIPAA, CFR Part 11, and GDPR compliance familiarity

Compensation: $41,700-$104,200 base pay (annualized)
