Phlebotomist

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team at 21250 W. Roosevelt St., Suite #108, Buckeye, AZ. 85326. Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:00am - 4:00pm; additional days/hours such as a Saturday rotation as needed. Job Responsibilities Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups. Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc. Enter patient information accurately and in a timely manner. Process billing information and collect payments when required. Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis. Maintain patient and specimen information logs. Provide superior customer service to all patients. Perform administrative and clerical duties as necessary. Travel to additional sites when needed. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Preferred Qualifications Phlebotomy certification or completion of a training program. Six (6) months or more experience as a phlebotomist. Proficiency in English; Spanish language skills are advantageous. Experience in pediatric settings. Additional Job Standards Certification must come from an accredited agency if in lieu of work experience. Must pass a standardized color blindness test. Demonstrated strong written and verbal communication skills. Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service. Ability to work independently or as part of a team. Comfortable working under minimal supervision. Flexibility to work overtime as needed. Employees scheduled less than 20 hours, Casual, Intern, and Temporary employees are eligible only for the 401(k) Plan. Employees on a 7 on/7 off schedule receive all benefits except PTO or FTO. Phlebotomists may be eligible for the Phlebotomy Incentive Plan, offering quarterly bonuses based on performance metrics.
