Server Assistant The Server Assistant role is dedicated to providing quality service that exceeds Guest expectations and works to create guests for life, by proactively embracing service standards, adhering to safety regulations and gaining the knowledge to assist guests with any and all needs. This position provides support to guests and associates serving guests throughout the food and beverage organization. Includes assisting servers and bartenders. Salary for this position: $20.00/hour plus gratuities where applicable. Responsibilities Maintain regular attendance in compliance with Omni standards, as required by scheduling which will vary according to the needs of the Resort. Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, which include wearing the proper attire/uniform and name tag when working. Provide outstanding service to members and guests in a friendly and professional manner, following proper steps of service. Communicate with culinary and food and beverage outlet teams regarding meal requirements, allergies, dietary needs and special requests communicated to you by guests and guest requests. Alert manager immediately if a member or guest has a suggestion, complaint or issue. Maintain cleanliness of the restaurant. Bussing, running food and clearing tables to assist servers and guests. Assist with hosting when one is not available. Station set-up Stock needed supplies in side stands. Barback duties as required by business demands. Dust all tables to include table legs. Check off and pick-up storeroom supplies. Set tables with clean, pressed linen, china, silver and glassware. Ensure furniture and floors are clean and arranged according to specifications. Pour water for guests. Cross train among other food and beverage outlets as needed. Maintain knowledge of the resort property. Attend department meetings and other required company trainings. Perform any other duties as assigned by the restaurant manager. Qualifications Previous experience in a high volume guest facing position. Previous experience in restaurant service preferred. Must be able to lift, carry, and place up to 50 pounds. Must have the ability to stand/walk throughout the duration of the shift for up to 8 hours. Must be 21 years or older. Must have a strong attention to detail. TIPs alcohol and Food Handlers certification required prior to first shift. Available to work a flexible shift, including weekends and holidays.
