As a Security Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points and alarm activity, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $19.25 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeSat11:00 PM - 07:00 AMSun11:00 PM - 07:00 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location. Respond to incidents, tenant concerns, access-related issues, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, common areas, parking facilities, entrances, and the property perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity. Monitor access points and observe conditions throughout the property, documenting patrol findings, incidents, and unusual activity in accordance with site requirements. Assist with directing visitors, supporting building operations, and communicating professionally with tenants, contractors, and emergency responders as needed. Minimum Requirements: At least one year of security-related experience is required. A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Access control and badge experience is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Alarm panel experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
