Supervisor, REMI Operations The Supervisor, Production Operations will supervise a team of technical operators working on live events utilizing a Remote Integration (REMI) production model. The Supervisor will be responsible for the planning, support and execution of all operational requirements of all live event productions executed in a REMI production model. They will assume oversight and lead teams across various business units to ensure success of all assigned production units, including special productions and projects. Key Responsibilities Supervise daily business, operational and technical support of the team and department. Plan, execute, and support all live event productions in a REMI production model. Provide expert operational support to Production Operations and partners. Maintain deep understanding of workflows and equipment in production control rooms, mobile units, and remote productions. Develop and implement processes and workflows that drive operational efficiency and cost savings. Coordinate troubleshooting efforts and communicate with teams across ESPN, Disney, and external clients. Build relationships within Production Operations and partner departments such as Content Production, Directing, Creative Studio, and Engineering. Lead development and training initiatives, evaluate performance, and conduct quarterly reviews. Manage personnel scheduling, crew coordination, and resolve employee conflicts. Maintain adherence to departmental SOPs and company policies. Lead operational triaging and documentation for issues affecting on-air operations. Assist in the planning and integration of operational hardware and new equipment. Perform various tasks and special projects as needed. Qualifications Minimum of 10 years practical experience in Content Production or related area at the regional or network level. Knowledge of all broadcast production equipment and technology in assigned operating areas. Demonstrate ability to perform and lead tasks under tight deadlines, work independently, and manage simultaneous projects. Deep understanding of workflow in other business units and their integration with Production Operations. Organizational, efficiency, and planning skills. Willing and able to adapt to a constantly changing environment. High functioning computer background (Microsoft 365, Smartsheet, JIRA, Confluence). Problem solve and troubleshoot using effective communication skills. Seek out and participate in training programs for self-career development and equipment workflow changes. Flexibility to alter shifts/days off and work overtime, including nights, weekends, holidays. Preferred Qualifications In-depth understanding/background in Production Operations job roles in Studio, PCR, Network Control, and Editing. Proficient in business protocol and procurement techniques, and research and development in specified areas. Bi-lingual (English/Spanish). Required Education High School Diploma or equivalent. Preferred Education Bachelor’s Degree or Technical School degree in communications, electronics, television production or related field. Additional Information Must be able to work nights, holidays and weekends. Work through late night shifts, weekends, and holidays. Compensation The hiring range for this position in Bristol, CT is $105,100 to $140,900 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered. #J-18808-Ljbffr
