Nursing Administrative Supervisor (Per Diem, Night shift)

divh2Administrative Supervisor/h2pThe Administrative Supervisor is responsible for the clinical supervision of patient care and represents hospital management on the assigned shift to ensure the delivery of quality patient care./ppExposure to communicable diseases, blood and blood products, illness, confused and/or combative patients, hazardous chemicals, stressful situations, x-rays and fluoroscopy, sharp instruments and needles, electricity./ppIncludes standing, walking, lifting patients, pushing wheelchairs, recliner chairs, beds, stretchers. Occasionally must stoop, reach above head, carry medium to light equipment./ppReports to: Chief Nursing Officer/ppContacts: Administrators, Physicians, Department Heads, Hospital Staff, Patients, Families and Visitors./ppSupervises: All members of Nursing Staff on Assigned Shift/ppEducation: Graduate from an accredited school of nursing./ppBaccalaureate degree preferred, Masters preferred./ppExperience: At least five years clinical experience, including at least one year supervisory experience./ppLicensure/Qualifications: Current license to practice professional nursing in NJ. CPR certification as per Hospital policy; IV certification as per Hospital policy. ACLS required, (or within 6 months of employment).
