Pediatric Otolaryngologist
Phoenix Children's
Job Description
Job Description
Our organization is on the lookout for board-certified or board-eligible fellowship-trained Pediatric Otolaryngologists to join our dedicated team of 10 surgeons and 8 advanced practice providers. Together, we aim to deliver outstanding, family-centered, equitable, and accessible healthcare services to a diverse pediatric population in one of the nation's rapidly expanding regions. This is a remarkable chance to be part of a burgeoning division where each member takes pride in contributing to exceptional care for children and their families.
The greater Phoenix area, particularly Arizona, is witnessing significant growth, and we serve as the primary tertiary center in the region for pediatric otolaryngology and head and neck surgical issues.
The ideal candidate will be adept at managing a wide range of pediatric otolaryngologic conditions. While a subspecialty interest in aerodigestive and complex airway disorders is preferred, it is not mandatory.
Beyond clinical responsibilities, the successful candidate will have the chance to advance the field through clinical or basic science research initiatives and play a role in educating the next generation of healthcare providers. This includes teaching opportunities with residents and medical students from three local institutions. We are affiliated with the Mayo Clinic Arizona Otolaryngology Residency program and have academic partnerships with the Mayo Clinic Medical School, the University of Arizona College of Medicine-Phoenix, and Creighton University Medical School, all of which provide educational opportunities and faculty positions.
Our physical presence is expanding to ensure that families in Arizona have access to high-quality healthcare within their communities. With a comprehensive quaternary children's hospital, a free-standing emergency department, and two additional community hospital locations set to open in 2024, along with over 40 care sites and clinics, we are committed to delivering exceptional care throughout the Southwest. Our team consists of more than 1,500 medical staff providers who tackle health challenges ranging from routine to the most complex, starting from early childhood. Together with our colleagues, collaborators, and communities, we are enhancing pediatric care, education, and innovation to foster healthier futures for all.
The staff physician will provide patient care services and support our mission of offering hope, healing, and the highest quality healthcare for children and their families.
