Job Details Deliver SOLOTo: Yard Jockey & Warehouse Route: Local Home Daily Tractor Type: Yard Tractor Trailer Type: Dry Van 48', 53’ Equipment: Forklift & Pallet Jack Ryder will train you on all equipment needed to be successful Pay and Schedule Driver Positions Pay Weekly: $900 or more per week Hourly Pay: $22.50 per hour Hours per week: 40 + hours per week Paid Training Schedule: Vaires Start Time: PM Dispatch Benefits Medical, Dental & Vision after 30 days 80 hours PTO in first year, starting Day 1 (use it or get paid for it) Boot allowance provided Drivers are the Captain – you make safety decisions, and your job is protected 401(k) rollover available now + company match at 1 year 12 weeks paid maternity leave (subject to specific eligibility criteria, including work tenure) Employee discounts on tools, vehicles, travel, tech & more Responsibilities Perform warehouse functions such as loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting Handle day‑to‑day paperwork in a warehouse environment (e.g., picking sheets, returns, bills of lading) Accurately pick, pack, audit, tote induce, stage products and load/unload trucks Safely handle and maneuver tractor‑trailers on the yard (cannot drive on public roads) Comply with safety & DOT regulations, continuous training and customer service Additional Responsibilities Ensure compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and agency rules, standards, and guidelines Detect and eliminate or minimize safety hazards Maintain accurate records and logs, including yard inventory Perform duties within performance measurement guidelines of the contract Other tasks as assigned Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred One year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred Minimum 21 years of age Verify driving experience in similar equipment: 9 months experience in the past 3 years, or 2 years’ experience within the last 5 years, or 5 years’ experience within the last 10 years Pass a Ryder Drug Test Pass a Ryder Background and Motor vehicle check, including drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years Pass a DOT physical Pass a Yard Driver Examination Must have a valid driver's license Basic knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practice requirements, if applicable to site Flexibility to operate and self‑driven to excel in a fast‑paced environment Detail oriented with excellent follow‑up practices Strong verbal and written communication skills Capable of multi‑tasking, highly organized, with excellent time management skills Follow written and/or oral instructions Read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies, and/or procedures Work independently and as part of a team Lift and/or push/pull up to 35 lbs.
