$210,000-$250,000

An established New York law firm is seeking an experienced Landlord-Tenant Litigation Attorney of 6+ years' experience to join its Litigation team in Manhattan. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney looking to take ownership of a diverse caseload, work closely with clients, and play a hands-on role in litigation strategy within a lean team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

\n

\n
• Manage residential and commercial landlord-tenant litigation, including non-payment proceedings, holdovers, and HP proceedings.
\n
• Handle court appearances in Housing Court and New York Supreme Court.
\n
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery materials, settlement agreements, and legal memoranda.
\n
• Advise clients on condominium and cooperative law, rent stabilization, regulatory compliance, and eviction proceedings.
\n
• Develop case strategies and maintain strong client relationships throughout the litigation process.
\n

Candidate Requirements:

\n

\n
• 6+ years of commercial and residential landlord-tenant litigation experience.
\n
• Admission to the New York State Bar.
\n
• Experience representing landlords, commercial property owners, condominium and cooperative boards, and/or property management companies.
\n
• Strong advocacy, drafting, and client management skills.
\n
• Ability to work independently, manage a busy caseload, and contribute within a lean team.
\n
• Experience with general real estate litigation, corporate governance, or condominium lien foreclosures is a plus.
\n
