Corporate Accountant

Corporate Accountant We are seeking a detail-oriented Corporate Accountant to join our accounting team. This position will be responsible for maintaining the integrity of the general ledger, supporting month‑end and year‑end close processes, preparing financial reports, performing account reconciliations, and assisting with audits. The ideal candidate is analytical, organized, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a deadline‑driven environment while ensuring compliance with GAAP and company policies. Key Responsibilities Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, and adjusting entries Perform monthly bank, balance sheet, and general ledger reconciliations Support month‑end, quarter‑end, and year‑end close activities Maintain accuracy and integrity of financial records and accounting transactions Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements Research and resolve accounting discrepancies and reconciling items Analyze financial data and prepare management reporting packages Support internal and external audit requests by preparing schedules and documentation Assist with fixed asset accounting, prepaid expenses, and intercompany transactions Ensure compliance with GAAP, internal controls, and accounting policies Partner with cross‑functional departments to support business initiatives Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy Participate in special projects and other accounting‑related duties as assigned Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 3+ years of progressive accounting experience Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting principles Experience with general ledger accounting, reconciliations, and month‑end close Advanced Excel skills including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, and financial analysis Experience with ERP systems such as NetSuite, Sage Intacct, Microsoft Dynamics GP, SAP, Oracle, or similar platforms Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and organizational skills Excellent written and verbal communication abilities Ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines Preferred Qualifications CPA or CPA candidate Public accounting experience Experience in a multi‑entity or corporate environment Experience supporting audits and internal controls Exposure to SOX compliance and financial process improvement initiatives Desired Attributes Detail‑oriented with a high level of accuracy Results‑driven and proactive mindset Strong sense of ownership and accountability Collaborative team player with excellent interpersonal skills Ability to adapt in a fast‑paced environment and manage changing priorities Beacon Hill is an equal opportunity employer and individuals with disabilities and/or protected veterans are encouraged to apply.
