Stoltzfus Meats is looking for a dependable Bakery Prep Associate to join our bakery team.

You don't need professional bakery experience to get started. We'll teach you what you need to know. We're looking for someone who enjoys working with their hands, likes staying busy, and takes pride in helping a team get the job done right.

Schedule: 6 am - 12 pm; Thursdays and Saturdays.

What You'll Do

You'll help our bakery team prepare products for our customers and keep everything stocked, organized, and ready for the day.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Packaging and labeling fresh bakery products
• Stocking shelves and displays so they're full, fresh, and inviting
• Helping load and unload bakery ovens
• Rotating products and checking freshness and quality
• Preparing products and supplies for the bakery team
• Keeping work areas clean, organized, and food-safe
• Helping your teammates wherever needed to keep the bakery running smoothly

It's active, hands-on work, and no two days are exactly the same.

Previous bakery, food service, production, or retail experience is helpful, but it isn't required. We'll train the right person.

What the Job Is Like

This is an active position. You'll spend much of your day standing, moving, stocking, packaging, and helping prepare bakery products.

Team members should be comfortable:

• Standing and moving throughout the workday
• Lifting up to 50 pounds
• Working around bakery ovens and areas that can be warm at times
