Responsibilities

Operate various types of powered industrial material handling equipment to transport inventory to/from storage and staging areas.

Load/unload freight onto/from containers and trailers.

Verify inbound deliveries against manifests to verify product and quantity accuracy

Utilize RF Scanners to pick and/or pack customer orders ensuring accuracy of type and quantity of all components

Select and construct appropriate packaging materials to ensure safe transport of product to final destination

Utilize RF Scanners, Computers, and scales to process orders for shipment

Maintain facility equipment by performing daily safety inspections and monitoring power supply

Comply with all OSHA and MSDS standards

Perform stock counts

Maintain a clean, neat, and safe work area

Perform other duties as assigned by management

Qualifications

Required:

High School Graduate or GED equivalent.

Ability to carry and transport items weighing up to 50 pounds on a regular basis; Ability to stand and walk or move around for extended periods; Repetitive pushing, pulling, and bending required

Ability to read work orders, pick lists, and/or assimilate verbal work instructions.

Preferred:

Prior distribution center/warehouse operations experience.

Prior powered material handling equipment experience and/or certifications.
