Capital Fixed Income Investors (CFII), part of the Capital Group Companies, has been managing fixed-income strategies since 1973 and has over $500bn in assets under management. We have an experienced team of more than 30 Fixed Income Traders in Los Angeles, London,New Yorkand Singapore.

CFII is seeking an experienced trader with deep understanding of theratesmarket, trading a wide variety of bonds and derivative instruments in a high-calibreenvironment. The successful candidate will have proven success in trading, a collaborativenature,and excellent communication skills. This position will be based in Los Angeles or New York.

As a Rates Trader, you will contribute to the team in the following ways:

• Execute trades andidentifytrading strategies and investment opportunities across US interest rate products, including government bonds, interest rate swaps,futuresand options.

• Build andmaintainstrong internal and externalrelationships,with investment group colleagues and sell-side counterparties

• Communicate regularly with Capital's global trading desks to ensure a global view on bond markets

• Collaborate with Capital's investment professionals worldwide to discuss market trends and investment strategies

• Liaise with Investment Operations and other fixed income business units tomaintainorder flow integrity,monitorriskand improve communication

• Performadditionalresponsibilities and undertake special projects as assigned

• You have a minimum of 5 years of fixed income rates trading experience, in a high-performing sell-side or buy-side environment

• You are a self-starter and team player with excellent communication skills

• You have strong relationship building and negotiation skills

• Youcanwork calmly,flexiblyand efficiently in a fast-paced environment

New York Base Salary Range: $150,000 - $250,000

Los Angeles Base Salary Range: $150,000 - $250,000

In addition to a highly competitive base salary, per plan guidelines, restrictions and vesting requirements, you also will be eligible for an individual annual performance bonus, plus Capital's annual profitability bonus plus a retirement plan where Capital contributes 15% of your eligible earnings.
