Responsibilities

• Deliver occupational therapy treatments to residents in accordance with the plan of care and facility policies.
• Assess functional abilities, implement treatment programs, and document progress toward goals for residents requiring long-term care services.
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation, including treatment notes, progress notes, and discharge planning input.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to adjust plans of care, participate in rounds, and communicate resident status and anticipated outcomes.
• Ensure safety and infection control practices during therapy sessions and maintain resident and family education as appropriate.

Requirements

• Active COTA license or eligibility for licensure in the assignment state; compliance with all regulatory requirements.
• Associate degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Experience in long-term care or skilled nursing facility settings is preferred.
• Ability to work 36 hours per week on a daytime schedule in a travel assignment.
• Strong documentation, communication, and collaboration skills; ability to work within a multidisciplinary team.
