Job Summary
Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory (Cardiac Cath Lab) Registered Nurse (RN) position available in Philadelphia, PA. This role involves providing specialized nursing care in a high-volume, level-1 Trauma Center Cardiac Cath/EP Lab unit. The nurse will assist with diagnostic and interventional procedures, including complex percutaneous coronary interventions and structural heart cases.

Job Details

• Location: Philadelphia, PA
• Schedule: 8-hour shifts, starting at 8:00 AM, with a minimum of 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), BLS (Basic Life Support), RCIS certification; minimum of 2 years of experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab or related area, relocation to Philadelphia recommended.
• Preferred Qualifications: Previous travel experience; experience with diagnostic procedures, complex PCI, and Structural Heart cases preferred.
• Float: Float: The traveler is not required to float between campuses or locations within the health system.
• Additional Information: The unit is a 6-room facility with 9 pre/post procedure bays, performing 10-25 cases daily, ranging from diagnostic to complex PCI and Structural Heart procedures. Shifts are 4-10 hours weekly with on-call requirements, including 1-2 nights per week, every 4-5 weekends, and on holidays. The on-call nurse to patient ratio is approximately 1:3 in the holding area and 1:1 during intraprocedure times. Flexibility to report to an alternate campus if needed, with mileage being billable between campuses.
