Loan Officer

Loan Officer (Bilingual in English and Spanish highly preferred) Lennar is one of the nation’s leading homebuilders, dedicated to providing exceptional customer service and fostering a culture of opportunity and growth. Responsibilities Strategize and implement outside sales activities to contribute to the company's growth. Generate leads through prospecting with regular visits to communities, realtors’ offices, and relevant locations. Conduct "First Time Homebuyer Seminars" in communities to develop leads and build relationships with New Home Consultants and prospective/current clients. Travel and actively participate in builder and realtor functions, status meetings, phase releases, phone banks, and special events. Engage with communities to explain the Company’s offerings, obtain loan applications, and attend closings. Provide tailored mortgage recommendations based on customers’ financial and individual needs; review and lock interest rates at least fifteen days prior to closing. Adhere strictly to federal, state, and company regulations throughout the loan origination process. Daily review of leads and proactive outreach via telephone and email to schedule in-person or virtual meetings. Maintain clear and timely communication with internal and external stakeholders. Originate and prepare new loans, adhering to federal, state, and company regulations outlined in the "Loan Officer" agreement. Assist New Home Consultants with customer pre-qualifications to build a pipeline for outside sales. Strive to meet or exceed closed loan capture rates and other sales goals specified in the "Loan Officer" Agreement. Maintain detailed reports and notes within the origination computer system. Qualifications Bilingual in English and Spanish (highly preferred). High school diploma or equivalent; four‑year college degree preferred. Minimum of 3 years of loan originating experience. Valid driver’s license and dependable mode of transportation. NMLS License & specific State license or willingness to obtain within 30 days of employment. Fluent in Spanish – speaking and writing (preferred). Self‑starter able to work independently. Exceptional organizational abilities and attention to detail. Passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. Proficient in mortgage industry software and tools. Physical & Office/Site Presence Requirements Regular, in‑person attendance at company communities, job sites, and offices during regular work hours. Capacity to work in excess of eight hours per day in the confined quarters of a construction trailer. Ability to operate a motor vehicle, read plans, climb stairs and ladders, bend, stoop, reach, lift, move and/or carry equipment weighing more than 50 pounds. Occasional operation of construction equipment. Finger dexterity required to operate computer keyboard and calculator.
