Termite Technician

Position Overview Rentokil’s Termite Technician provides essential inspection, prevention, and treatment services to protect client property from termites and other wood‑destroying organisms. The Technician acts as the first line of defense, ensuring customer peace of mind. Responsibilities Identify termite problems and determine remedial steps using knowledge of termite biology. Perform termite treatments safely according to company guidelines and safety procedures. Apply anti‑termite treatments to structures following schedule, safety procedures, and label instructions. Communicate critical conditions to customers, discuss procedures and potential structural modifications. Verify job specifications appropriate for each work order. Operate, maintain, and service service vehicles and equipment. Complete production forms documenting services provided. Interact with customers and explain services provided. Tolerate various environmental conditions, including seasonal weather, damp or dusty locations. Prepare job site, enter and exit structures and crawl spaces, climb ladders, and ascend and descend stairs and ladders. Work at heights up to 20 feet and in confined spaces as required. Qualifications & Requirements High school diploma or GED. Clean‑shaven face required for respirator fit. Valid state driver’s license (company vehicle and gas card provided). At least one year of customer service experience; termite control experience a plus. Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn. Flexibility to work Monday–Friday and Saturdays as needed. Basic math skills for product label calculations. Basic carpentry, cement, roofing, gutter, or attic experience is advantageous and ability to work on roofs and high areas. Ability to wear PPE, including an OSHA‑compliant respirator. Must hold required licenses or certificates per federal, state, and local regulations (covered by company).
