Location: Columbia, MO 65203
Assignment: 8+ week contract (potential to extend to 12+ weeks)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:30 PM
Pay: $63/hour
Start: ASAP – Urgent Need

Position Overview

RPh on the Go is seeking a Staff Pharmacist for an urgent contract opportunity with a long-term care pharmacy in Columbia, Missouri. This role will primarily focus on prescription verification and cycle checking to support the pharmacy's daily workflow.

Responsibilities
Verify prescriptions for accuracy, appropriateness, and completeness prior to dispensing
Perform cycle checking and review medication orders
Ensure prescriptions and medication orders meet pharmacy and regulatory requirements
Work closely with pharmacy technicians and staff to maintain an accurate and efficient workflow
Identify and resolve prescription discrepancies or issues as they arise
Support safe and timely medication dispensing for long-term care patients
Assist with additional pharmacist duties as needed

Requirements
Active Missouri Pharmacist license
At least 1 year of pharmacist experience
LTC pharmacy experience preferred, but not required
Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a high-volume environment
