Key Responsibilities Accurately receive, inspect, and log incoming raw materials and finished goods. Prepare and package outgoing products for shipment, ensuring proper labeling and documentation. Operate forklifts and pallet jacks safely to move materials within the warehouse. Maintain organized inventory records and assist with cycle counting. Coordinate with production and logistics to ensure timely material flow. Load and unload trucks efficiently, verifying quantities against shipping manifests. Identify and report any discrepancies or damages in received or shipped goods. Recommended Qualifications High school diploma or GED 1-3 years experience in shipping/receiving within a manufacturing environment Proficient in using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment Experience with inventory management software and scanning systems Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and stand for extended periods Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping Bonus Qualifications Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) for inventory management. Forklift certification with experience operating various types of lift equipment. Proficiency in using barcode scanning systems and related software. Familiarity with hazardous material handling and shipping regulations (e.g., DOT, IATA). Basic mechanical aptitude for minor equipment maintenance or troubleshooting.
