Title: Enterprise Architect (IT)

Location: Wichita, KS

Onsite schedule: 5 days onsite

Salary: $165K

Must-haves:

• 10+ years of IT experience

• 5+ years in Enterprise Architecture, Solution Architecture, AI Architecture, or IT Leadership roles

• Experience developing and executing enterprise AI strategies and roadmaps

• Strong understanding of Generative AI, Machine Learning, AI Governance, and Responsible AI principles

• Expertise across Business, Data, Application, and Technology Architecture domains

• Strong AWS and/or Azure architecture experience, including AI/ML service offerings

• Experience evaluating emerging AI technologies and identifying enterprise use cases that drive measurable business value

• Experience integrating AI solutions into existing enterprise ecosystems and business processes

• Knowledge of cloud architecture best practices across IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS environments

• Strong stakeholder communication and executive presentation skills

• Experience developing enterprise technology standards, governance frameworks, and modernization strategies

• Understanding of ERP, PLM, MES, and Cybersecurity platforms

• Ability to assess risks, costs, scalability, security, compliance, and long-term support requirements for AI and technology investments

• Knowledge of DevOps, MLOps, and DevSecOps practices

Plusses:

• Aerospace industry experience

• Experience supporting engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, or flight operations environments

• Hands-on experience with Generative AI platforms, LLMs, AI copilots, or enterprise AI implementations

• Experience developing AI governance, ethical AI, or AI security frameworks

• Background in enterprise modernization and legacy application rationalization

• Experience evaluating AI and cloud technologies for long-term enterprise adoption

• AWS, Azure, AI, or Enterprise Architecture certifications

• Experience with data platforms, analytics, and AI-enabled decision support systems

Day to day:

Insight Global is looking for an Enterprise Architect focused on AI and Digital Transformation to serve as the strategic bridge between business objectives and emerging technology solutions within a complex aerospace environment. This individual will define enterprise AI and architecture standards, develop AI adoption and modernization roadmaps, evaluate emerging technologies, and ensure investments align with long-term business goals. They will partner with executive leadership, business stakeholders, engineering teams, cybersecurity teams, application owners, and vendors to identify opportunities where AI can improve efficiency, decision-making, automation, and innovation. This person will help establish a scalable, secure, and responsible AI strategy while ensuring AI, cloud, and enterprise application initiatives align with the organization's future-state technology vision.
