Amergis Healthcare Staffing, Inc.-Allied is seeking a local contract Mammography Technologist for a local contract job in Chicago, Illinois.

Job Description & Requirements

Specialty: Mammography Technologist
Discipline: Allied Health Professional
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: 13 weeks
40 hours per week
Shift: 8 hours, days
Employment Type: Local Contract

Schedule:

Monday–Friday, varied start times starting between 6:30-8:30AM, 8-hour shifts
Rotating Saturdays (with a weekday off)
Site-specific hours:
- Hospital 1: 6:30 AM – 2:30 PM (or last patient)
- Hospital 2: 7:30-8:30a AM – 5 PM (1-hour lunch)

Duration: 13 weeks (likely extension)

Minimum Qualifications:

Licensed Radiologic Technologist (RT) by Illinois
Current Mammography certification (ACR)
Minimum 2 years of experience in:
- Screening mammography
- Diagnostic mammography

Required Training & Certifications:

Completion of:
- 8 hours of Continuing Education (CE) in Tomosynthesis (Tomo)
- 8 hours of CE in Digital Breast Tomosynthesis (DBT)
