General Production Laborer The General Production Laborer is responsible for production duties as assigned while following appropriate processes and safety regulations. Primary Position Responsibilities: Follow all safety, food safety, & GMP rules and regulations. Oversee and maintain the food safety and quality of the process and finished product. Keep work area clean and organized by practicing good housekeeping in the immediate work area. Assist fellow employees on an as needed basis. Inspect, identify and replace product and packaging that is not conforming to standards. Ability to properly package product in boxes and on pallets. Must be able to operate a case erector, facility glue pots (reaching excess of 300F), and Line 6 case dumper. Complete all required line documentation and reports accurately, legibly and thoroughly. Meet and maintain acceptable line efficiency and production standards. Identify issues that he/she is not able to rectify and communicate them promptly to the Production Supervisor for assistance. Food Safety/Quality: Responsible for food safety and quality as well as reporting food safety and quality problems to personnel with authority if unable to initiate action.
